Annapurna Basecamp Trek is an easy grade trek which provides diverse terrain and a captivating journey that will take you through lush rhododendron and bamboo forests, across beautiful suspension bridges, terraced rice fields, pouring waterfalls, incredible villages with a diverse range of flora and fauna to witness and provide you with the most stunning mountain views of the Annapurna Range. You will be standing below some of the biggest mountains in the world!
This route is often renowned as the best trek in the country and one of the most beautiful and famous trekking routes in the world when it comes to cultural diversity and the opportunity to become acquainted with Nepali people from a variety of ethnic backgrounds.
You will visit 2 incredible basecamps:
- Machurpurche Base Camp (3700m)
- Annapurna Base Camp (4130m)
At both basecamps the views of Machhapucchre (6993m) with its distinct fish tail shape, Mt Hiunchuli (6441m) Annapurna South (7219m) Annapurna I (8091m) and Annapurna III (7555m) will be remarkable.
Another standout on this trek will be the sunrise climb to Poon Hill viewpoint, where you will be provided with the most stunning views over a chain of snow-covered Himalayan peaks… make sure your camera is fully charged for this morning!
