Overview
Lobuche Peak is located in Nepals stunning Khumbu Valley.
Lobuche Peak lies just above the Lobuche village and Khumbu Glacier.
With breathtaking views from the summit, this effort is more than rewarded: You have a clear view of the famous eight-thousand mountains such as, Everest (8,849m) Lhotse (8,516m) Makalu (8,463m) Cho Oyu (8,188m) also the stunning Ama Dablam (6,812m).
A literal breathtaking Himalayan panorama view from the top!
Lobuche Peak climbing with Everest Base Camp and Gokyo begins with the very famous flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, adventure right from the start!
You will be visiting the famous Sherpa Village of Namche Bazar, where you will have time to rest and acclimatise, or even do a sneaky little bit of shopping! Before we continue onwards and upwards for the remainder of our journey, if you think the views are good here…. Just wait for what’s to come!
This combined trek is the ultimate adventure for those who are fit and mentally ready to complete a more challenging trekking and climbing experience, you will be passing by many spectacular alpine lakes, monasteries, waterfalls, lush green hills and rivers via suspension bridges, taking you through the superb landscapes of the Everest Region in Nepal.
There is no denying that Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes are listed on many peoples “bucket list”.
This trip is all about adventure, mountains, history and experiencing the outstandingincredible culture and landscapes every step of the way.
Oh, and did we mention the most important part…. A once in a lifetime memorable experience in the Himalayas, with the most breathtaking views!
This itinerary allows for proper acclimatisation and preparation for climbing Lobuche Peak, to ensure you are completely confident for a safe and successful summit climb.
*** We wish to inform a change of itinerary due to the ever-changing climate we are experiencing. Island Peak at current is resulting in melted glaciers which are causing rock falls, whilst it is still possible to climb safety is our number one priority at Talak Nepal Trekking, therefore we have the exact same plan but instead will be climbing the incredible Lobuche Peak!
We thank you for your understanding and look forward to this wonderful journey through the Himalayas with you!
