The Gokyo Valley in Nepals Khumbu region, is one of the most picturesque valleys in Nepal.
Adventure from word go, with the exciting flight into Lukla where you will see your first views over the Himalayas…. Make sure your camera is ready and charged!
This is the ideal trek for those wishing to enjoy the best of both worlds, a well-trodden path to every hiker’s bucket list destination…. Everest Base Camp and a peaceful less travelled trek onwards in the Everest region, where you will witness the outstanding views of Everest and surrounds.
Rated a moderate trek, you will be trekking through sherpa villages and yak pastures, where you will be spoilt with snow capped mountains, lush valleys, beautiful lakes and stunning Himalayan landscapes.
The pristine turquoise waters of Gokyo Lakes are one of Nepals most memorable sights. They comprise the highest freshwater lake system in the world, around 5000m.
You will Climb Gokyo Ri (5357m) and be rewarded for spectacular views of Everest, Lhotse and Cho Oyu, all over 8000m. On return you will walk via Renjo La Pass (5340m) over one of Nepals most beautiful passes.
